The News is Out…..

Jake's Seminary posts pictures on a map of all their missionaries.  It's awesome that they celebrate right along with these kids.  This post was on Facebook.

 And Jake sent his picture and call into Missionaries coming soon on Instagram.  This is such a fun thing.  People from all over the word send theirs in.  And then others can comment, friends are made before they even get into the mission.  Jake has met a few people who are going to Santa Maria and most of them are from Brazil.  A few of them have decided to teach Jake Portuguese before he gets there.  It's so great to see them all so excited to go and serve and have a chance to be friends before it even starts.  LOVE IT!!

 The Sister Wives….Joci is in Brazil, Alissa is going to Ohio, Sophia is going to California, Breanna is going to Australia, and Jessica is finishing up her paperwork this week.  What a great bunch of young adults.  We are so excited for them all and promised them a panini lunch before they all left.

We are thrilled for Jake and his decision to serve the Lord.  There is a feeling of peace and calmness in his call to Brazil, Santa Maria.  We are anxious to learn about the country and people he will be serving.  Congratulations, Jake.  We love you.

The Call Is Here…..

3 weeks later it finally got here.  Dad, Mom, and Jake were up in Logan for a youth council conference when we got the call from the post office.  Jake called Jen Baker and she went and picked it up.  She was the keeper of the call.  She hid it away and didn't let anyone see or touch it.  

She sent this picture of our mail lady handing it over.

 And getting it home safely.

 We went right over to pick it up when we got home.  Jake was so excited to hold it.  

 

 

We are so excited to open it and see where the Lord is sending him.  

We have friends and family coming over tomorrow night to open it up.
